Product Overview

Polyimide high temp tape is constructed with an amber polyimide film (Kapton equivalent) backing coated with a high-grade cross-linked silicone adhesive. Exhibiting dielectric strength and dimensional stability across wide thermal extremes (-269°C to 260°C continuous, up to 300°C short-term peak), this tape resists chemical solvents, soldering flux, and radiation.

It provides electrical insulation and heat shielding for printed circuit board assembly, wave soldering, and lithium battery cell manufacturing without leaving silicone adhesive transfer.
